$22-23/hr Make a Direct Impact on Patient Care Our team is seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join a fast‑paced, patient‑centered healthcare environment. What You'll Do Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws using straight and butterfly needles Accurately identify patients and label specimens in compliance with safety standards Process, handle, and transport specimens following CLIA, OSHA, and facility protocols Operate laboratory equipment, including centrifuges Support inpatient, outpatient, and stat/emergency blood draw requests (as applicable) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Deliver exceptional patient care with professionalism and empathy What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Phlebotomy Training Program 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred (hospital or clinical setting a plus) Confident with high‑volume blood draws Experience with pediatric and geriatric level patients Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
