Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Full-time 11p-7:30a, every 3rd weekend/rotating Holidays. Technical/Phlebotomy- Perform approved specimen collection procedures, point-of-care testing services and processing. Provide education/information and support to patients and families concerning tests and specimen acquisition. Assist in special projects, evaluations, experiments or research. Customer Service
- Act as patient advocate and meet patient/family needs. Provide information concerning patients admitted to, referred to/from, transferred to/from, or discharged from home unit. Provide emotional support to patients/families as needed. Utilize a customer focus in completing assignments, communicate in a courteous and conscientious manner. Promptly attend to requests and concerns. Collaboration
- Work cooperatively with others to achieve goals. Proactively adjust one's style, efforts to complement those of others. Develop positive working relationships, interact in a respectful, professional manner. knowledge and/or provide support for team members. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of Phlebotomy or other relevant Clinical Lab specimen collection experience OR completion of a Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant programPreferred:
Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification Primary Location Burnet Campus Schedule Full time Shift Night (United States of America) Department Laboratory Support Services Employee Status Regular FTE 1 Weekly Hours 40- Expected Starting Pay Range
