Shift Differentials:
$1.27 extra for working between 3:00pm
  • 11:00pm $2.
15 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am $1.10 extra for working weekends Position Summary The Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant orders, draws, receives and processes laboratory specimens. They are also responsible for specimen accuracy and integrity in all parts of Pre-Analytical specimen handling. In the cancer center they also may support bone marrow biopsies. Position Qualifications Experience 1 year laboratory experience or equivalent experience in a healthcare related field is required Experience requirement may be waived after successful completion and attainment of a Certificate of Completion from a Certified Phlebotomy Education program (
NACLS:
National Association of Clinical Laboratory Science) approved by Asante Laboratory Leadership Specialized hematologic next-generation sequencing (NGS) experience involves analyzing DNA and RNA from blood cancers like leukemias, lymphomas, and myelodysplastic syndromes is preferred Education High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Certification/Licensure PBT :
Phlebotomy Technician is preferred
MLA:
