PURPOSE OF JOB
Provides direct patient care and performs selected therapeutic interventions and diagnostic procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specific accommodations. Collaborates with patients, families, and health care team members in order to achieve excellence in patient care. Promotes patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines and Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals. Actively participates in and supports departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals. Maintains clinical competency according to unit-specific standards.Job Qualifications:
V. QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
1. High school or GED completion 2. Certified Nursing Assistant documentation for Certified PCT position. Must maintain current Pennsylvania license. B.Experience:
1. Hospital experience preferred 2. Phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred C.Other Skills:
