Responsibilities (Vary by Position) Assist with patient activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support. Perform vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and basic assessments to ensure patient well-being. Administer medications via injections or IV infusion following strict aseptic techniques and medication protocols. Support complex medical procedures such as catheterization, suturing, or wound care under supervision. Document patient information accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic or Cerner; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings such as ICU, trauma centers, or outpatient clinics to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Provide specialized care for populations including geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice and palliative services. Requirements (Vary by position) Valid CNA certification or LPN license; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) must have hands on component (AHA or ARC). Experience working in healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. Proficiency with Point Click Care EMR. Knowledge of infection control practices and sterile processing techniques. Ability to perform venipuncture, phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing and laboratory procedures. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology terminology and diagnostic evaluation methods. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment and health coaching; experience working with diverse populations including children and seniors is a plus.
