Responsibilities Travel to patient locations, including homes, clinics, and hospitals, to perform blood draws and specimen collection efficiently and professionally Obtain accurate patient information, vital signs, and medical histories to ensure proper specimen handling Use aseptic techniques and proper venipuncture methods to collect blood samples safely and comfortably Process specimens according to laboratory procedures, ensuring correct labeling, storage, and transportation for analysis Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient interactions, and specimen details in compliance with healthcare regulations Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience Adhere strictly to safety protocols, infection control standards, and confidentiality requirements at all times Qualifications Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, or clinical laboratory settings with a focus on phlebotomy or blood sampling Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and venipuncture techniques Demonstrated ability to perform specimen collection with precision using aseptic techniques and proper handling of specimens Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience is highly desirable Excellent patient service skills with a caring approach to diverse populations Ability to work independently while managing a flexible travel schedule effectively Certification in phlebotomy or related laboratory procedures is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided if necessary Join us as a Mobile Phlebotomist and become an essential part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to delivering outstanding patient care through expert specimen collection.
