Phlebotomist I - Mount Pleasant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Mount Pleasant. The ideal candidate will perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Essential Skills 1-2 years of recent Phlebotomy experience. Proficiency in phlebotomy, customer service, blood draw, geriatrics, pediatric, and venipuncture. High school diploma or GED. Experience with all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. Ability to manage 25+ patient draws per day. Additional Skills & Qualifications Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Working hours from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. You will be part of a nationally renowned diagnostic laboratory, offering a professional and collaborative work environment.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
