Job Summary :
The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other specimen samples from patients in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.Role :
In Clinic Phlebotomist Location- Carrollton,TX 75007
Shift Timings :
Mon,Tues,Wed & Fri- 9 AM
- 4 PM and Saturdays 9 AM
- 4 PM.
Preference:
Should be Flexible with any schedule changes.Key Responsibilities:
Sample Collection; Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures efficiently and with minimal discomfort to patients.Patient Interaction:
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor to reassure patients and answer their questions.Specimen Handling:
Properly label, store, and transport specimens to the laboratory, ensuring integrity and viability are maintained throughout the process.Safety and Compliance:
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, infection control standards, and legal requirements, including maintaining confidentiality of patient information.Documentation:
Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation, including patient records and logs, ensuring all details are recorded correctly.Equipment:
Maintain phlebotomy equipment, ensuring it is clean, sanitized, and in good working order at all times.Travel:
Travel to various facilities or patient homes as required, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about industry developments and advancements in phlebotomy techniques and technologies.Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; completion of a certified phlebotomy program preferred.Experience:
Previous experience in phlebotomy or a related field is preferred. Experience with mobile or on-site phlebotomy services is an advantage.Licensure/Certification:
Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician from an accredited body (e.g., ASCP, NHA) is preferred.Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods, use hands to handle equipment, and occasionally lift or move objects.Working Conditions:
Must be willing to travel extensively to different locations as part of the mobile phlebotomy services. Be prepared to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed. Candidate need to work in Field/Clinic, based on the companies requirement.Pay:
$20.00- $22.
