Your energetic approach will ensure smooth specimen collection, accurate processing, and excellent patient service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diagnostic excellence while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to health and well-being. Duties Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling using proper techniques to ensure specimen integrity Collect, label, and process blood specimens accurately following established laboratory procedures Obtain vital signs and assess patient physiology to ensure safe and effective specimen collection Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols during all procedures Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout the process Document all laboratory activities precisely in accordance with medical terminology standards and hospital policies Assist with specimen processing, storage, and transportation to the laboratory for analysis Requirements Proven laboratory experience with knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and specimen handling Certification or training in phlebotomy or related clinical laboratory skills preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to blood sampling and patient care Experience working in hospital or clinical laboratory environments is highly desirable Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy Knowledge of venipuncture techniques, blood sampling procedures, and vital signs measurement Ability to follow strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols at all times Join us in making a difference through precise diagnostics and compassionate patient interactions.
