If you have a steady hand, strong attention to detail, and thrive in a lab setting, this opportunity is for you. πŸ” What You'll Do πŸ’‰ Specimen Collection & Patient Care Perform venipuncture using straight needles and butterfly needles Collect blood, urine, and other specimens following established procedures Clearly explain collection procedures to patients in a professional and reassuring manner Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times πŸ§ͺ Specimen Handling & Processing Label, centrifuge, split, and store specimens according to test requirements Match laboratory requisition forms with specimen tubes for 100% accuracy Prepare and package specimens for transport while maintaining integrity Follow proper storage protocols, including temperature requirements 🧼 Lab Operations & Compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform equipment maintenance and decontamination duties Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations Participate in annual training and continuous education πŸ“ž Administrative & Support Tasks Update and verify patient information in systems Answer incoming calls and assist with lab-related inquiries Communicate results or escalate issues as needed Support workflow improvements and assist with training when required βœ… What You Bring Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Valid Phlebotomy Certification (where required by state) Strong attention to detail and accuracy πŸ₯ Work Environment Fast-paced clinical or laboratory setting High patient interaction Team-oriented environment focused on quality and efficiency 🌟 What Success Looks Like Accurate specimen collection and processing every time Positive, professional patient interactions Strong adherence to safety and compliance standards Reliable support of lab operations and workflow πŸ“Œ Apply today! Spots fill quickly! Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Frisco, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
