Full Job Description Clinical Duties:
Serve patients by greeting and assisting them in a professional manner. Administer injections and perform venipuncture (phlebotomy). Support patient care by assisting providers as needed. Front Desk /
Reception Duties:
Welcome patients and visitors in person or by telephone; answer or refer inquiries. Schedule appointments in person and over the phone, optimizing provider time and patient satisfaction. Maintain timely patient flow by notifying providers of arrivals and delays. Provide comfort to patients by answering questions. Maintain the reception area in a clean and professional manner.
Administrative & Office Duties:
Ensure accurate patient records by filing, retrieving, and updating information in the EMR system.
Handle patient accounts:
update demographics, process charges, collect payments, and manage insurance claims. Perform general office tasks such as answering calls, scanning, copying, faxing, emailing, referrals, appointment confirmations, and record keeping. Maintain inventory and office supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Protect patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies. Contribute to overall clinic operations by following procedures and protocol. Must be able to travel between multiple clinic locations as needed. Skills & Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant with prior experience in the medical field. Proficient in phlebotomy and administering injections. Strong multi-tasking ability and works well under pressure. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Time management, organization, and attention to detail. Proficient with EMR systems, scheduling, and Microsoft Office/Word processing. Professionalism and quality focus. Bilingual (Spanish) a strong plus.
