Phlebotomist I Houston, TX 13-Week Contract Join a Leading Healthcare Laboratory Team! We are looking for an experienced Phlebotomist who enjoys working directly with patients and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality specimen collection services. If you have strong venipuncture skills and experience in a fast-paced clinical environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do
+ Perform blood draws using venipuncture, straight needles, and butterfly needles
+ Collect, label, and process blood and other specimens
+ Prepare specimens for testing, storage, and transportation
+ Verify patient information and ensure specimen accuracy
+ Work with patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
+ Enter patient information and maintain accurate records
+ Provide excellent customer service and explain procedures clearly to patients
+ Follow OSHA, safety, and laboratory compliance standards What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience Experience performing 30+ blood draws per day Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills Experience with specimen labeling, centrifuging, and processing Comfortable working with pediatric and geriatric patients High School Diploma or GED Microsoft Office proficiency Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous experience in a hospital, laboratory, or patient service center
+ Phlebotomy certification (preferred, not required)

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
