Job Description

This job is for a Part time independent contractor. Monday Wednesday and Friday in office from 9am-2pm and Mobile collections on Tuesdays and Friday's. You will need to come in during the week for training. Monthly pay.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform blood sampling and specimen collection processing.
  • Experience in pediatric blood draws is required.
  • Use aseptic technique to ensure the safety and accuracy of blood samples
  • Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment
  • Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen handling and processing
  • Record and document patient information accurately
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of physiology and vital signs is beneficial
  • Familiarity with patient service and providing quality care is a plus
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labeling
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using medical equipment related to phlebotomy procedures As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare system by ensuring accurate blood sampling and specimen collection.
