We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Phlebotomist who takes pride in providing excellent care while ensuring accuracy and safety in every specimen collected. This is more than a job — it's an opportunity to bring comfort to patients, support critical diagnoses, and be an essential part of a dedicated healthcare team.
In This Role, You Will:
Collect blood, swabs, urine, and other specimens from patients in both hospital and outpatient settings Ensure proper patient identification, accurate labeling, and safe handling of all specimens Follow established protocols for specimen collection, transport, and storage Support laboratory operations with timely and precise documentation in the EMR Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following infection control standards Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and lab staff to ensure seamless patient care Provide compassionate, respectful service to patients and their families during every interaction Assist with specimen processing, including centrifugation and preparation when needed
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy program (minimum 80 hours of training) Current BLS certification required Phlebotomy certification (AMT, ASPT, or equivalent) preferred or willingness to obtain within one year 6 months to 1 year of hospital-based phlebotomy experience preferred Strong venipuncture skills, including pediatric collections Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
