Job Description
Part Time - Non-Credit Healthcare Phlebotomy The Blinn College District is searching for a Part Time - Non-Credit Healthcare Phlebotomy at our Waller Campus. Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below: Job Summary To provide instruction for Phlebotomy courses. Principal Accountabilities Faculty Support o Supply orders, o student questions/concerns, o prepare NHA testing information, distribute to students with application codes. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or higher in health care field and 3 years non-teaching work experience in the field. Current certification as a phlebotomist. Minimum Competencies Strong verbal and written skills for delivering complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard), Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic medical records Understanding how adults learn, including experience in curriculum design, student evaluation, and competency-based instruction. Ability to teach and evaluate hands-on skills in labs or clinical settings. Designing or updating coursework to meet current industry standards. Ability to work with diverse populations. Experience with classroom, laboratory, and web-based delivery methods. Preferred Competencies Prior experience with adult learners, specifically in community college, vocational, or continuing education settings, is strongly preferred.
