Job Description

Position Overview Medical Assistant (part-time) will provide direct clinical support to physicians while also cross-training to assist with front desk and administrative responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, professional, and comfortable supporting diverse patient populations, including individuals with complex medical and behavioral health needs.
Clinical Responsibilities Include:
Rooming patients and obtaining accurate vital signs Assisting with psychiatric and primary care workflows Phlebotomy Vaccine administration Assisting with in-office procedures Managing patient messages and phone communication Supporting documentation and follow-up tasks Maintaining accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record
Front Office Responsibilities Include:
Scheduling patient appointments Answering a multi-line telephone system Verifying and updating demographic and insurance information Collecting co-pays and deductibles Explaining patient balances Managing incoming and outgoing medical records Maintaining a warm, respectful, and HIPAA-compliant environment
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification (preferred) 2+ years of outpatient medical office experience (strongly preferred) Experience with electronic medical records (required) Athena experience (highly preferred) Proficiency in Google G-Suite Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and adapt between clinical environments

Schedule:
Monday through Friday (20-24 hours per week) with a set schedule
