Full Description:
A temporary employee wellness clinic serving a corporate industrial workforce in Richmond, VA is seeking a Spanish Speaking Phlebotomist. This role supports a workplace screening event by assisting employees with referral scheduling and performing skilled specimen collections in a professional workplace environment. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create a supportive and organized patient experience. Clinic events are scheduled periodically as part of workplace wellness programming and are not part of a fixed schedule. Qualified candidates may include LPNs, Phlebotomists, Medical Assistants, or Paramedics with phlebotomy experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist with setup of mobile clinic within corporate environments supporting employee wellness programs. Perform/collect accurate venipuncture and specimen collections. Review health history, record patient information and update electronic health record (EHR). Assist patients with referral scheduling and follow-up appointments. Provide education and guidance on next steps for care. Coordinate with insurance providers when necessary for scheduling or documentation. Establish and maintain relationships with service providers. Maintain professionalism and treat patients with respect. Provide excellent customer service. Assist with documentation, data tracking, and basic spreadsheet reporting when appropriate. Support smooth clinic workflow in a temporary on-site screening environment.
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted clinical license or certification. Active
BLS/ ACLS
certification required. Phlebotomy experience required (certification preferred). Must be bilingual fluent in Spanish. Proven experience with medical scheduling and familiarity with EMR system is a plus. Customer service-oriented and has great bedside manner. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision. Must bring a personal laptop or tablet to each shift to complete electronic charting and documentation. Must be able to reliably commute to Richmond, VA 23224.
