The ideal candidate will be responsible for traveling to multiple nursing home in the Salem, Va Roanoke, Radford, Floyd, Dublin, Daleville, Va areas. Going to facilities to perform blood draws, collect specimens, and ensure safe and accurate specimen handling. This role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys working independently while providing exceptional patient care. Travel to assigned nursing home facilities on a daily route to perform phlebotomy services. Perform venipunctures, and other specimen collections with accuracy and care. Properly label, handle, and process specimens according to established protocols. Maintain accurate records of all collections, patient information, and specimen logs. Ensure all samples are stored and transported according to safety and compliance standards. Demonstrate excellent bedside manner and provide compassionate care to elderly patients. Maintain cleanliness of phlebotomy equipment and supplies. Follow infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines at all times. Communicate effectively with facility staff and the Smooth Sticks Mobile Phlebotomy Services LLC team
