This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate patient care while ensuring accurate and efficient blood sampling and specimen processing. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be the friendly face of our organization, bringing essential laboratory services directly to patients' homes, workplaces, and community locations. Your expertise will help facilitate timely diagnoses and contribute to improved health outcomes. Responsibilities Travel to patient locations such as homes, workplaces, and community sites to perform blood draws and specimen collection with professionalism and care Obtain accurate patient information, explain procedures clearly, and ensure patient comfort throughout the process Collect blood samples using venipuncture techniques, ensuring proper labeling and handling for laboratory testing Follow strict aseptic techniques and maintain infection control standards during specimen collection and processing Maintain detailed records of each procedure, including patient details, sample types, and collection times Ensure proper transportation and storage of specimens according to laboratory protocols to preserve sample integrity Requirements 3 years minimum experience in phlebotomy, including venipuncture and blood sampling techniques Knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and medical terminology relevant to specimen collection Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and vital signs measurement Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while adhering to safety standards Valid certification, credentials in phlebotomy is mandatory Car Insurance coverage is mandatory This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills directly impact patient health.
