HOURS:
In-person classes will be at the NTC campus in Wausau on Tuesday and Thursdays starting January 25, 2027 Must be able to attend one of two class times: 11am-2:30pm or 3pm-6pm Required clinical lab (after classroom course) will be scheduled between the student and site manager. There are limited spots to complete clinicals at the Wausau Hospital, and traveling outside of the area may be required Experience/Qualifications YA require working a minimum of 450 hours and take related high school or college classes to enhance their worksite experiences. High school juniors and seniors from participating North Central Wisconsin School-to-Career Partnership schools are eligible to participate. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, background and reference check Must be able to work a minimum 48 hours every two weeks after course completion if not in high school Aspirus Wausau Hospital , the flagship of the Aspirus system, serves northeastern Minnesota, northern and central Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
