Our multidisciplinary team comprises dedicated healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to ensure we provide the best possible care for our patients. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering tailored therapy that meets the unique needs of each client. Work Environment This role is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where you will be working closely with a team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The collaborative environment emphasizes the sharing of knowledge and best practices, enabling you to enhance your clinical skills while delivering high-quality care. The facility is designed with patient comfort and rehabilitation effectiveness in mind, providing an inviting space for both staff and patients. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal disorders through comprehensive examination and analysis of movement patterns. Maintain a patient load of two individuals per hour, ensuring personalized attention and adjustment of treatment plans as necessary. Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise programming to promote rehabilitation while minimizing reliance on medication. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions. Document patient care accurately and timely using EMR software like WebPT, ensuring compliance with professional standards. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies based on evaluations and feedback to optimize rehabilitation outcomes. Encourage patients throughout their treatment, providing motivation and support to enhance their functional capabilities. Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals to develop interdisciplinary care plans and optimize patient outcomes. Promote health and wellness by developing customized fitness programs that address individual patient needs. Patient Population / Client Focus In your role, you will primarily work with patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic-related issues, trauma recovery, and post-surgical treatment. Your dedication to enhancing their physical capabilities will play a crucial role in their recovery process. Working closely with individuals who have private medical insurance allows you to focus solely on providing high-quality care without the constraints often related to insurance limitations. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Clean record with no board or disciplinary actions on your physical therapy license. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, ensuring that you can effectively implement hands-on treatment strategies. Familiarity with generating and implementing exercise programs designed to facilitate rehabilitation. Experience utilizing electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and management. Preferred Experience We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of two years of experience working as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting. This experience will equip you with the knowledge and skills to immediately contribute to our team and address the varied needs of our patient population.
