Active Arizona PT License Required Position Overview Are you an experienced Physical Therapist looking for your next travel opportunity? Join the team at Oro Valley Hospital and make a meaningful impact by helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, regain independence, and improve their overall quality of life. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) settings and be comfortable adapting to the needs of a diverse patient population. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote safe mobility, functional independence, and successful recovery. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, diagnoses, and functional goals. Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence. Help patients manage pain and restore or maintain physical function. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, safety, and long-term wellness. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Promote safe patient mobility and help prevent functional decline. Provide care across Acute Care, Inpatient Rehab, and SNU settings. Float to Acute Care as needed based on facility requirements. Schedule 40 hours per weekPrimary Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30PM Weekend Requirement:
2 weekend requirements Weekend scheduling may be Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday , based on operational needs. ✅ Requirements Active Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) License- Required BLS Certification
- Required Strong recent experience in: Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Required Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU)
- Required Acute Care
- Required Cerner EMR experience
- Required Excellent clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and clinical environments Willingness to float to Acute Care as needed Why This Assignment?
