School Physical Therapist | Phoenix, Arizona ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time | Contract 6 hours ago Qualifications Physical Therapy License Physical therapy Full Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact this school year by providing essential physical therapy services to K-12 students in a supportive and dynamic educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity, located near vibrant Phoenix, AZ, offers the chance to support students' growth and development through individualized and group sessions tailored to their unique needs. With one opening in Tucson, you'll have the ability to work closely with students and staff, ensuring every child receives the attention and care they deserve.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Physical Therapist license in Arizona Possession of an AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card (required) Prior experience as a school-based PT or in a pediatric setting is highly valued Ability to design and implement therapy plans for K-12 students Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and students Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP or 504 plans Evaluate student needs, set goals, and develop intervention plans Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and communication with school staff and parents Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, and families to promote student success Participate in assessments and help determine appropriate adaptive equipment Stay current on best practices and contribute to a positive school culture Embrace the rewarding challenge of supporting students as they achieve their best in and out of the classroom.
