1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 3+ years of experience and outpatient background to serve a predominately Native American patient population in Arizona. Details 12-week assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am-5pm Serves inpatients (including weekend rotation) and outpatients ranging from birth through geriatric ages Provides specialty services including wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinic, geriatric clinic, high school clinic, functional clinic, spinal cord clinic, and assistive technology/adaptive equipment evaluation and treatment Supports the Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetic Orthotic Supply Program Facility is a JCAHO accredited referral center serving a large rural service area Requirements Bachelor's degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed PT required Outpatient experience required Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association Valid, current, full and unrestricted PT license in any US state, DC, or Puerto Rico required if applicable Must meet requirements to be credentialed for Medical Staff privileges Fingerprinting must be completed and cleared prior to start Additional Information Responsibilities include management and implementation of the Physical Therapy program, continuing quality improvement, risk management and safety, policy and procedure development, Joint Commission preparation, staff education, reporting, and staff meetings/in-services Orientation occurs every two weeks May accept declination forms for COVID and flu vaccine exemptions Housing may be available but is not guaranteed; a housing application must be submitted two weeks prior to start First-time travelers may be considered
