Qualifications & Skills:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Arizona Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational PT settings Understanding of IEP processes and collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams Strong assessment and documentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Adaptable and self-motivated with the ability to serve diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop effective treatment goals Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed Offer guidance on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications Support students in achieving greater independence and participation in school activities
