Job Description
AvaMed Workforce is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a Medical Facility in Delano, CA .
Responsibilities Assess function:
Test balance, strength, and range of motion.Review medical history:
Read doctor notes and surgical reports.Set goals:
Build customized short-term and long-term care plans.Track progress:
Monitor improvement and adjust care plans as needed.Gait and balance training:
Teach safe walking skills and posture.Assistive devices:
Train residents to use walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.Strength building:
Lead exercises to restore muscle mass after illness or stroke.Pain management:
Apply stretches, manual therapy, or modalities to ease joint and muscle discomfort. Qualifications- Active California PT license
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred — new graduates encouraged to apply

- $65/hr-$70/hr (travel rate available)
