Job Details:

Shift Type = Days Shift Hours = 8:00 AM

• 6:30 PM Schedule = 4 days per week Assignment Length = 13 Weeks (Start ASAP ) On‑Call = Required
• 1 weekend per month
• 7:00 AM
• 9:00 AM coverage (inpatient) Setting = Primarily outpatient orthopedics Float = Acute / inpatient coverage as needed Patient Ratio = Varies by caseload Description of job: SnapCare is seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist for a travel assignment primarily focused on outpatient orthopedic care.

This role offers a consistent 4‑day workweek while supporting a diverse patient population in a dynamic rehabilitation setting. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions while also supporting limited inpatient/acute care coverage as needed. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians seeking a balanced outpatient role with occasional cross‑training in acute care.

Qualifications:

Active California Physical Therapist license Current

BLS / CPR

certification Experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation Inpatient or acute care experience preferred Additional specialty experience preferred (pelvic health, vestibular rehab, neuro, pediatrics, or lymphedema) Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver outpatient orthopedic therapy services Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed Educate patients on recovery, injury prevention, and home exercise programs Document care accurately in the medical record Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Float to inpatient / acute care settings as needed Participate in limited weekend on‑call coverage
