Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits skilled school-based Physical Therapists interested in making a difference in the lives of K-12 students. This full-time position, located near Calabasas, CA, offers a balanced weekly schedule totaling 30 hours and runs from August 19, 2026, through June 9, 2027. The role focuses exclusively on providing both direct and indirect services—free from any additional district duties like bus duty or parent pick-up supervision, so your time is dedicated to student support and rehabilitation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Physical Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain by start date) Previous experience working in school settings preferred Understanding of therapy needs for K-12th grade populations Ability to deliver individualized and group therapy sessions Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Implement therapy sessions addressing students' physical and educational needs Maintain accurate records and progress documentation Participate in IEP meetings as required by your caseload Collaborate with educational teams to maximize student independence and participation in school activities
