RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs, goals, and clinical findings. Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, balance training, and rehabilitation programs. Deliver compassionate care while helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve functional outcomes. Progress treatment plans throughout the course of care and adjust interventions based on patient response and recovery goals. Communicate effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and other members of the care team regarding patient progress and treatment plans. Complete timely clinical documentation, progress reports, and discharge summaries using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term wellness strategies. Support and collaborate with PT aides and clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and clinical education opportunities. Provide care for diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, sports injury, post-surgical, neurological, vestibular, and balance-related conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current California Physical Therapy License or PTLA eligibility. New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are welcome to apply. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation techniques, and evidence-based treatment practices. Interest or experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, or aquatic therapy preferred. Ability to create effective treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical reasoning. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
