Job Summary Physical Therapists provide high quality, comprehensive and patient- centered Physical Therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Responsibilities include patient evaluation and assessment, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources, handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines, and clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel. Physical Therapists work with various healthcare team members to assure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Job Requirements a.
Minimum Education Requirement :
Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program required. b.
Minimum Experience Requirement :
Excellent customer service skills required. c.
Minimum License Requirement :
California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure as a PT by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions. BLS required. Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH. Annual 4 hours of Orthopedic Education required. Must be available to work the following schedule based on the department's operational needs: Sunday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
Pay Range:
$47.19 - $73.14
