We have been serving our local community for 25 years! We are an outpatient orthopedic clinic and have a great patient base. We work with great orthopedic surgeons in the area who refer their post-op patients to us. We have low turn-over and are looking for a long term team-player. PT - California Licensed Physical Therapist, Outpatient Huntington Beach, CA Currently seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) for a position at an Outpatient PT clinic specializing in Orthopedics in Huntington Beach. Physical Therapist (PT) should have experience in the Outpatient Orthopedic setting. Successful candidates should be highly motivated and able to work on his/her own initiative as well as supervise others. Experience in Pilates is a plus, but not required. The responsibilities and requirements of a Physical Therapist (PT) are listed below: Responsibilities of Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Plan, prepare, or carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients. Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home. Provide information to the patient about the proposed intervention, its material risks and expected benefits, and any reasonable alternatives. Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation. Direct, supervise, assess, and communicate with PT Aide. Requirements of Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) Physical Therapist License from the California State Board Experience in outpatient orthopedic treatment Experience with Pilates is preferred but not required
