Job Description What you will be doing: Physical Therapist Conduct Physical Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs, preferences, and goals. Actively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans. Deliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plans. Provide active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional training of ADLs, and treatments including massage, heat, sound, water, light, or electricity. Supervise Therapy Assistants, providing training, instruction, and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP). Provide training and instruction to staff, participants, and caregivers/families on the use and care of therapeutic equipment.
Experience you will need:
Physical Therapist Bachelor's degree in physical therapy; master's or doctoral degree preferred. Two (2) years in a clinical setting with frail or elderly population preferred. Valid California Physical Therapy License, or proof of license eligibility. Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
