Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide services in a dynamic school environment, supporting students from PreK through 12th grade for the upcoming academic year. Your expertise will help empower students to achieve greater independence and reach their full potential in the educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience working in a school setting is highly valued Ability to travel between sites as assigned (sites may vary) Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary education teams Passion for working with students at all levels, from early childhood to high school Excellent organizational and caseload management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and provide individualized physical therapy interventions for students with a variety of needs Develop and implement IEP-driven goals in collaboration with staff and families Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for evaluations, progress reports, and treatment sessions Communicate progress and strategies to teachers, administrators, and families to support academic and functional success Adapt and modify interventions for diverse learners across multiple school sites Participate in team meetings to ensure coordinated care and student-centered planning This contract assignment begins August 18, 2026, and extends through the end of the school year, providing you an opportunity to see the impact of your work throughout the academic calendar.
