Job Description

Category Homehealth•PT Job Type Contract Make an impact by providing essential physical therapy services to patients within a respected hospital environment and home health. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in rehabilitative and therapeutic care, bringing expertise and compassion to every patient interaction.
Schedule:
Day Shift Service area is Chico/Oroville. Monday•Friday.
Compensation:
Pay range is $3000•$3400 a week depending on experience Candidate will also be paid mileage
Qualifications:
Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Prior experience delivering physical therapy in an acute care or hospital setting Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities, assessments, and documentation standards Exceptional patient communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams Demonstrated commitment to high standards of care and ethical practice
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient conditions using advanced assessment techniques and develop individualized treatment plans Administer evidence-based therapy interventions to improve mobility, function, and quality of life Work closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to coordinate comprehensive care Educate patients and families about therapy techniques, home exercises, and safety Maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements Adapt approaches to address a variety of diagnoses and patient needs Support patient discharge planning through recommendations and progress updates
