Qualifications:
Valid and current Physical Therapist license (CA) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and document progress Collaborative mindset and commitment to working alongside educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Evaluate students and develop treatment goals to support mobility, motor skills, and participation in school activities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings Educate staff and families on strategies to support students' physical development Adapt interventions to foster an inclusive, accessible learning environment This contract role offers professional growth within a supportive school setting.
