Job Description

We are looking for a part-time or full-time physical therapist to join our rehabilitation team. Eastern Plums Health Care is a critical access rural hospital serving Plumas and Sierra Counties. Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains with beautiful lakes and trails for hiking, biking, fishing and skiing, this rehab department is thriving and wants a highly motivated and skilled PT to provide excellent care to our community. New grads are welcome. There is mentoring provided by our rehab team. This position is primarily outpatient treating a mix of orthopedic, geriatric, and neurologic diagnoses. Workdays and hours are flexible with preference for a consistent part-time or full-time schedule. Generous con-ed allowance to pursue specialty area development.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Effectively conducts evaluation and treatment sessions according to skills and licensure
  • Maintains accurate patient treatment records and current progress notes
  • Submits billing via EMR for each patient treated in accordance with established policy
  • Participates in staff meeting, in-services and other educational activities
  • Collaborates with inter-disciplinary team for patient care Requirements
  • Licensed in California as a Physical Therapist
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to relate to and work well with patients, peers and supervisor

Protected Health Information is restricted to a need-to-know basis. Any intentional or unintentional breach of confidentiality will be reported to the HIPAA Privacy Officer and is subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Salary:
$52 - $68/hr
