OTR - Hand Therapy Specialist (Part-Time & PRN) Elite Clinical Opportunity at Pacific Coast Post-Acute Are you a specialized OTR looking for a high-impact, premium-pay role in a premier clinical setting? Pacific Coast Post-Acute in Salinas is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist (OTR) with a focus on Hand Therapy to join our elite rehabilitation team.

Starting Rate:
$74-$75.00 per hour

Your Impact & Specialized Responsibilities:
Advanced Hand Diagnostics:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the hand and upper extremity, including sensory testing, ROM, and strength.
Post-Surgical Protocols:
Implement evidence-based recovery plans for tendon repairs, fractures, nerve compressions, and joint replacements.
Custom Orthotic Fabrication:
Design, fabricate, and fit custom splints to protect healing tissue and maximize functional outcomes.
Functional Integration:
Bridge the gap between clinical exercises and daily life using our state-of-the-art ADL simulation suite.
Interdisciplinary Leadership:
Serve as the subject matter expert for the rehab team on all upper extremity and hand-related rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
Licensure:
Current, valid California Occupational Therapist (OTR) license.
Specialization:
Proven experience in Hand Therapy. (CHT certification is a plus, but significant clinical experience in hand specialty is accepted).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in manual therapy, wound care, and custom splinting.
