We primarily collaborate with patients covered by private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering personalized care without the constraints often found in larger healthcare institutions. Work Environment This position is onsite at our advanced rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside a dedicated team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work schedule follows a consistent Monday to Friday routine from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities to support you in providing exceptional care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and functionality. Deliver evidence-based therapy services with an emphasis on effective rehabilitation techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Efficiently manage your daily caseload, averaging one patient per hour, to maximize treatment effectiveness while ensuring thorough care. Utilize innovative treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education, to foster rehabilitation and improve overall physical health. Provide ongoing motivation and support to patients, guiding them through their recovery process and encouraging adherence to treatment regimens. Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of patient health are addressed. Thoroughly document patient interactions and treatment protocols using our EMR software (WebPT) to maintain compliance and facilitate continuity of care. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions impacting their mobility and physical health. Our diverse patient population includes athletes, post-operative individuals, and those seeking rehabilitation following accidents or chronic conditions. Your role is crucial in helping these patients regain their independence and enhance their quality of life through targeted therapies and personalized care. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required. Active and unrestricted physical therapist licensure in the state of California. A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license. Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy principles and practices. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for effective patient record management. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, based on qualifications and experience.
