Position Overview Pro Elite Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team in Simi Valley, California. This full-time role is perfect for a compassionate and skilled professional who is passionate about helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. You will operate within our orthopedic outpatient center, directly engaging with patients in a supportive and collaborative environment, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, comprising physical therapists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to achieving optimal patient outcomes. Your contributions will directly impact our community's health and wellness. Key Responsibilities Effectively identify and address each patient's personal goals and needs, adapting treatment plans accordingly. Manage a patient caseload of 1 individual per hour, providing focused and personalized care. Create and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise protocols. Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, focusing on improving their physical functions and achieving their personal recovery goals. Deliver cost-effective treatment options, reducing the reliance on medication when possible and exploring alternatives to surgical approaches. Thoroughly document patient care services and progress, maintaining accurate records that reflect treatment outcomes and adjustments to care strategies. Collaborate and consult with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to each patient's care, reinforcing our interdisciplinary model. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This entails developing treatment strategies that are tailored to enhance their mobility and restore their functionality. You will promote health and wellness through education about lifestyle modifications, strength training, and therapeutic exercises, helping each individual reach their full potential. Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. A valid and active state license as a Physical Therapist. An unblemished professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license. Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques. Demonstrated competency in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols. Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT. Preferred Experience Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, preferably dealing with diverse patient populations and complex cases. Experience in working with EMR systems to streamline patient documentation and care coordination. Familiarity with current best practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation.
