1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, with CA licensure required and new graduates welcome to apply. Details Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM May include occasional weekend coverage and floating as needed 36-hour work week Assignment length ranges from 13 to 26 weeks Any charting system experience required Requirements CA license required (if applicable) 1 year of SNF experience preferred; new graduates will be considered BLS certification required Experience treating orthopedic conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, spinal conditions, and post-op cervical, shoulder, spinal, hip, and knee surgeries preferred Experience treating neurologic conditions such as cognitive disorders, MS, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury preferred Strong skills in patient assessment and body mechanics Additional Information Responsibilities include developing and implementing home exercise programs and providing patient and family education Open to first-time travelers, including new graduates
