1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient position at an acute care hospital, with potential inpatient floating opportunities. Details Outpatient physical therapy setting within a 49-bed acute care hospital Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts) Optional floating to a partner facility approximately 15 miles away for a half day of inpatient coverage on Fridays, if agreeable Rotating inpatient weekend coverage approximately once every 2 months Charting systems include McKesson, OBix, Pyxis, and SBAR 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required; candidates with 1 year of experience may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis Current state PT license or compact license required — license must be in hand at time of consideration Active BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred License required if applicable — all certifications and licensure must be submitted for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted Mileage reimbursed by the facility when traveling to the partner location Any color scrubs are acceptable Free parking available in any unrestricted space No RTO within the first two weeks of the start date; no more than 10 days of RTO total; no full calendar weeks of RTO accepted All time-off requests must be finalized and submitted at the time of application 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
