Work Environment Our therapy center provides a welcoming and dynamic work environment where patient interaction and engagement are at the forefront of our practice. Located in Boulder, a hub for outdoor activities and wellness, our facility features state-of-the-art equipment and a spacious treatment area designed for both individual and group therapy sessions. We operate onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible schedule conducive to work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, assessing functional abilities and creating detailed reports. Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans based on each patient's assessment results and recovery goals. Administer various hands-on techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound. Provide education to patients and their families on proper body mechanics, posture correction, and strategies for injury prevention. Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate, detailed patient records through our electronic health record (EHR) system, documenting assessment results and treatment interventions effectively. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clientele includes individuals of all ages dealing with a variety of conditions such as chronic back and neck pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and age-related mobility issues. We cater to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic illnesses, and those seeking preventative care strategies. Our commitment to individualized treatment plans ensures that we address the specific needs of each patient, fostering a supportive environment that encourages engagement and satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Colorado. Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. Proficient in the application of various physical therapy modalities and techniques. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills to assess patient needs effectively. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families. Preferred Experience At least three years of clinical experience with a focus on outpatient therapy.
