Position Overview Total Care & Wellness Physical Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic orthopedic outpatient practice in Brighton, Colorado. This role is essential in supporting our patients as they recover from injuries and work to improve their overall functionality and movement capabilities. About the Organization Located in Brighton, Colorado, Total Care & Wellness Physical Therapy Center is a reputable, PT-owned orthopedic outpatient private practice dedicated to providing high-quality physical therapy services. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed with state-of-the-art sports medicine equipment, allowing for optimal care and treatment. As a team of three professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), we pride ourselves on offering personalized care tailored to each patient's needs. Work Environment This position will be based onsite in our outpatient office. Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a stable and predictable environment for both staff and patients. As part of our team, you will engage directly with patients in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Total Care & Wellness Physical Therapy Center, your key responsibilities will include: Assessing patients to identify their individual goals, needs, and limitations to inform treatment plans. Managing a caseload efficiently, serving one patient per hour to focus on personalized rehabilitation. Implementing evidence-based treatment strategies aimed at improving motion, flexibility, and mobility. Reducing patient dependency on medications by exploring non-surgical alternatives that promote better health outcomes. Developing and executing comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities tailored to each patient's specific requirements. Designing individualized wellness and fitness programs to support long-term health maintenance. Documenting patient progress meticulously, ensuring all treatments and outcomes are recorded for continuity of care. Evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjusting care plans based on real-time patient feedback and progress. Motivating and supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation process to achieve maximum functionality. Collaborating with other health professionals as necessary to provide integrated patient care. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is serving patients with private medical insurance, which allows us to provide tailored and specialized treatment options. We cater to a diverse clientele, primarily involving individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. This role is vital in guiding patients from recovery to achieving their peak physical capabilities. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. A valid DC license to practice as a Physical Therapist. A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against the license. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol design. Experience using WebPT EMR Software to manage patient records efficiently. Preferred Experience We prefer candidates with previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, showcasing their capability to handle similar patient demographics and treatment protocols.
