Company Overview Denver Physical Medicine & Rehab is an integrated medical clinic situated conveniently near I-25 and South Colorado Boulevard. Our multidisciplinary team includes medical doctors, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with experience in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. As a Physical Therapist, you will develop personalized care plans, deliver expert patient care, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes across diverse populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Responsibilities Assess patient conditions through detailed evaluations, utilizing physiology and anatomy knowledge to inform treatment strategies. Design and implement individualized care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics. Provide therapeutic interventions across various settings including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health visits, and community care environments. Manage discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care. Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies. Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care efforts. Qualifications Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist with relevant state credentials. Proven experience in acute care, hospital environments, outpatient clinics, or home health settings. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice. Experience in discharge planning, care plan development, and patient education. Knowledge of EMR systems for documentation and treatment tracking purposes. Familiarity with pediatric and geriatric populations to tailor interventions accordingly. Additional skills in trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, and home & community care are highly desirable. Pay:
$47.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 32.0 per week
