Job description Company Overview Inland Pelvic Health & Physical Therapy is a specialized clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive pelvic rehabilitation services for both men and women. Our team is committed to improving quality of life through expert care and personalized treatment plans. Overview We are seeking a motivated Pelvic Health Therapist who is a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver specialized pelvic health care, including assessment, treatment, and education, to diverse patient populations across outpatient and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving patient outcomes in pelvic health. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients experiencing pelvic health issues, including incontinence, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, and other related conditions. Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, and physiology-based interventions. Provide patient education on anatomy, physiology, and self-management strategies to promote long-term health benefits. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient care across hospital, home health, outpatient clinics, and community settings. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document assessments, treatment progress, and discharge summaries accurately. Assist in managing care transitions from inpatient to outpatient or home & community care environments. Stay current with advancements in pelvic health therapy, including specialized techniques for pediatrics, geriatrics, and other populations. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to pelvic health conditions. Experience with discharge planning and care coordination in acute care or hospital settings. Proficiency in physiotherapy practices such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pelvic health therapy. Background in pediatrics, geriatrics, home & community care experience preferred. Ability to work effectively within EMR systems for documentation and communication. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
