Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment by bringing your Physical Therapy expertise to students! This contract role, located near Olathe, CO, offers an opportunity to work closely with school-aged children, helping them reach their full potential. The position is structured for 2 hours per week throughout the 2026/2027 school year, providing flexibility with your schedule while making a real difference.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license (Colorado or eligibility for state licensure) Previous experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with physical therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals Deliver direct therapy sessions and consultative support to teachers and families Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services provided Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student progress Educate staff and caregivers on strategies for classroom adaptations and safe mobility
