Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Connecticut Previous school-based PT experience preferred Familiarity with elementary school caseloads is a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, students, and families Comfortable adapting therapy plans and documentation to fit evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy interventions for elementary students Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support students' mobility and access to curriculum Assess motor skills, functional abilities, and needs; update IEP goals as required Maintain accurate and timely therapy documentation reports, adhering to school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations
