Work Environment Located in Stamford, Connecticut, our facility provides a warm and inviting outpatient atmosphere where collaboration and patient-centered care thrive. As a Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in a supportive environment alongside skilled professionals from various disciplines, all dedicated to fostering the well-being of our clients. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for a diverse range of patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to assess their specific needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while incorporating patient feedback to enhance effectiveness. Regularly reassess clinical signs and symptoms to gauge treatment efficacy, adjust interventions, and set new goals as necessary. Accurately complete documentation, including SOAP notes, progress summaries, and care plans, utilizing the company's electronic health record system within predetermined timelines. Provide educational support to patients and their families, helping them navigate the recovery process and understand potential challenges. Meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to overall business objectives to ensure clinic success. Collaborate with peers in various disciplines to offer integrated care for clients receiving multiple services. Embody and promote a culture of excellence by upholding and advocating for the company's core values. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Physical Therapist at Ability Capacity Beyond Inc., you will work with a wide-ranging patient demographic, including children and adults from diverse backgrounds, with varying conditions and disabilities. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to effectively address unique circumstances presented by each client, fostering inclusivity and accessibility in your therapeutic practices. Qualifications A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current and unrestricted licensure in physical therapy by the state of Connecticut. Willingness to conduct both in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatments, when appropriate, embracing technological innovations in care. A genuine passion for working with a diverse client base including various ages, races, and ethnicities. Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service Preferred Experience Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, particularly in physical therapy.
