Key Responsibilities Perform thorough evaluations of patients' needs and challenges to construct individualized rehabilitation plans aimed at achieving their specific goals. Administer hands-on therapy sessions and therapeutic exercises tailored to address a variety of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions, ensuring safe and effective treatment protocols. Maintain open communication lines with referring physicians and a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless care transitions and comprehensive treatment approaches. Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on treatment protocols and lifestyle changes necessary for optimal recovery, enhancing their engagement in the rehabilitation process. Patient Population / Client Focus In your role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population ranging from athletes, sports enthusiasts to individuals recovering from surgeries or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, and candidates with a Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or MPT) from an accredited institution will be strongly considered. A valid Connecticut Physical Therapy License, or the eligibility to obtain one, is essential for this position. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - you should be able to connect with patients compassionately while maintaining professionalism.
