Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a passionate professional with experience in pediatric physical therapy within educational settings. This role supports students by helping them achieve their mobility and functional goals, fostering independence and confident participation in school life. The assignment is available from July 1 through July 30, working Monday through Thursday, 7:45 am to 1:00 pm. This schedule blends a focused commitment with valuable time to recharge, ideal for those looking to engage in meaningful work during the summer.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid and current Physical Therapist license Previous experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Confident in documenting student progress and providing constructive feedback
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into the school routines Conduct assessments and continually evaluate student needs and progress Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation of services provided Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students Enjoy a balanced schedule, the chance to make a significant impact over a concentrated timeframe, and the satisfaction that comes from helping students succeed.
